IATSE Local 417 is in the jurisdiction of Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Fayetteville, and surrounding areas.

EPS PAY DAYS are on the 15th and the last day of each month. Checks will be mailed on these dates. Please allow 5-7 days for delivery by US mail.

For Part 2 – you must provide copies of identification (The most common documents would be your driver’s license and social security card.) Please take your government required identification per the I-9 to your first event call. You cannot be paid without providing these documents.

Direct deposit into your account is available on the paydate – no waiting for your check to arrive in the mail.

DIRECT DEPOSIT FOR PAYROLL

Direct deposit is available for all employees with a checking or savings account at any bank in the United States. The money will be available in your bank account on payday - no waiting for the check to arrive in the mail.

To sign up for direct deposit, you will need to download the Direct Deposit for Payroll PDF above, fill it out, and send it to [email protected] along with a check from your checking account on which you have written "VOID," or a document from your bank. The process takes about two payrolls from when you turn in this form until your first payroll will be deposited directly. In the meantime you will receive your check as usual.

If you elect to not sign up for direct deposit, please note that all checks are mailed on payday. It may take up to 5-7 business days for the US Postal Service to deliver these checks. NO SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR PICKING UP CHECKS WILL BE MADE.

Employment Agreement
This is an agreement between Entertainment Payroll Services, Inc. (Hereafter referred to as EPS) and

1. Employee agrees to allow EPS withdraw 5% of his/her gross earnings while under employment of EPS. This 5% will go to IATSE Local #635 for job referral services.
2. EPS will act as employer and will deduct all appropriate state and federal taxes.
3. It is understood that the employee will be considered a part-time employee of EPS.
Terms of Part-Time Hire
1. We are pleased to make you an offer of PART-TIME work. As an IATSE Local 635 part-time worker you will be classified as an event worker. Event classified positions are temporary and are filled on an as needed basis for a specific event.
2. The available working hours for an event worker are determined by the events schedule and are contingent on the needs of the client and your satisfactory performance. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OF CONTINUED WORK OR HOW LONG YOU MAY WORK ON ANY EVENT.
3. You may be asked to work on an intermittent or call-by-call basis and you will be paid for all hours worked in accordance with state and federal wage and hour regulations. Event workers are not eligible for full-time employment.
